In January, we proudly introduced our new 400,000 sq. ft. facility in Wooster, Ohio, the largest expansion project to date for the Alamo Group Snow & Ice Team. At the time, our Vice President, JP Bourque, described it as “a big step in the right direction”, a facility built to reduce our lead times, expand production, and strengthen our ability to serve customers.
Less than a year later, those promises are already being realized. The Wooster team has reached an important milestone with the completion and shipment of the first motor grader upfit, manufactured and installed on-site. The facility is now firmly established in the industrial segment, producing and installing plow attachments for both motor graders and wheel loaders.
Thanks to its size and resources, the Wooster facility is maintaining strong lead times, even on complex installations, while also keeping ample capacity for current and future demand. This means customers can count on faster delivery, more reliable service, and increased availability across our product lines.
